About us

GrowthHackers is a software company founded by Sean Ellis, who coined the term "Hacking Growth". It later merged with Contentools to offer two software solutions: to help teams manage their experimentation process (Experiments) and to manage content operations (Workflow). GrowthHackers also has an educational branch in GrowthHackers University, where experts share their knowledge in growth, marketing, and product. We also manage the GrowthHackers Community, a place where professionals from multiple areas come together to discuss business growth. We have held our yearly gathering at GrowthHackers Conference since 2017.

This week's must-know growth updates 🗞 🗞 Reddit's Big Data Deal & Upcoming IPO: Remember our speculation about Reddit's data sharing deal with an AI tech giant? Well, the mystery is solved! It turns out it's Google, not OpenAI as many assumed, who will be integrating Reddit information into its Search and Gemini models. As they prepare for their IPO, Reddit shared user and revenue figures: 73 million daily active users, 500 million monthly visitors, and $804 million in revenue for 2023 (21% YoY growth).   🗞 Google's Performance Max Goes Global: Marketers can now leverage Performance Max, Google's AI-powered tool for generating ad assets, rolling out globally in English. Image editing within the tool will be fully available in the US by March, with global expansion soon after.   🗞 And Yes, More on Google: They've also announced a new family of lightweight open-source models. Gemma models are built from the same research and technology used to create the Gemini models, and are capable of running directly on a developer laptop or desktop computer.   🗞 Is X-Mail Really Coming? Amidst fake rumors that Gmail is being sunset in August, Elon Musk hinted at Xwitter to a possible XMail. In true Musk fashion, we don't know how much truth is there in that comment. Even if the Musk Xmail service does emerge, taking on Google's Gmail with any real impact is still a major challenge.   🗞 New LinkedIn Reports for B2B Growth: B2B professionals, take note! LinkedIn released two valuable reports: "Deep Sales" explores a playbook based on top sales performers' habits and AI use, while "Guide to Evolving Data Privacy Approaches in Marketing" helps navigate data privacy changes.   🗞 Instagram is exploring a "Friend Map" feature similar to Snapchat's, allowing users to see their friends' locations in real-time. This opt-in feature is still in internal testing and not yet available publicly.   🗞 Samsung Enters the Ring: Samsung joins the wearables race with the announcement of their Galaxy Ring. This ring focuses on tracking activity and sleep, offering valuable health insights, but won't replace your phone for emailing just yet. Expect its release later this year. ➡ Explore deep dives and join discussions on all of these topics and a lot more impacting the work of growth at GrowthHackers Community! This week's must-know growth updates 🗞 🎬 A Busy Week for OpenAI: OpenAI just dropped a text-to-video bomb called Sora that's spitting out cinema-quality magic. Testers are sharing mind-blowing clips, and the future of how AI-generated content is looking. But that's not all! OpenAI just tripled its value in 10 months, now worth a cool $80 billion. And rumors are swirling about an OpenAI search engine powered by Microsoft Bing that could give Google a run for its money.   📈 Reddit has signed an exclusive contract with “an unnamed large AI company” to provide access to their dataset for a staggering $60 million annually. This goldmine of real-world interactions will fuel their LLM model, aiming to create an AI that mirrors human responses and insights, potentially shaking up online searches. 🥊 The Boosted Post Battle: Apple will begin charging iOS users a 30% service charge on boosted posts when they’re purchased on Facebook’s and Instagram’s iOS apps, which Meta is pushing onto buyers. But wait! Meta's got a plan: buy your boosted posts on desktop. Will advertisers take the bait and shift to desktops? Or will Meta be forced to find a new battle strategy?    🤝 Pinterest Business Manager gets a collaboration makeover, enabling seamless teamwork on Pin campaigns. Influencer marketing just got easier!   📱 TikTok-savvy brands: Get ready to streamline your creative workflow! The TikTok Creative Assistant is now integrated with Adobe Express, reducing the effort required to work across different platforms for each stage of the content ideation, creation and distribution process.   📞 Google Tests "Talk to a Live Rep" Feature: Tired of endless hold music and robotic prompts? Google might just be your savior! They're testing a feature that calls businesses on your behalf and holds your place in line until a real person answers.   😍 Love is blind, but finances shouldn't be? Forget traditional swipes, a new dating app called "Score" launched for Valentine's Day with a unique twist: users need a credit score of at least 675. Created by the financial platform Neon Money Club, Score aims to spark conversations about financial compatibility while matching singles who prioritize financial responsibility. That's it for this week's wrap-up! To stay on top of everything business growth, join GrowthHackers Community at https://bit.ly/48JRDzXz
